Best Western Plus Carlton Plaza Hotel is seeking fun, high-energy, friendly candidates for Guest Services Agent position. Candidates with no experience are welcome and great for part-time work for students!
Wage increase to $23.00 after 3 month probation.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Candidates must posses BC Class 5 Driver's License
- Flexible availability. Schedule is negotiable but candidates should be expecting to work mostly evenings and weekends
- Work well with others as well as independently in multi-cultual setting
- Professional and positive attitude with smiles and a sense of responsibility
- Enjoy customer service
- Speak English fluently to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues
- Great problem solving skill in fast-pace environment
- Ability to remain standing for extended periods of up to 8 hours during the shift
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- General office tasks including answering phone calls and responding emails professionally
- Resolve issues and concerns to creatively meet guest's needs
- Handle general questions and requests including concierge tasks
- Greet warmly at the front desk to provide welcoming and caring environment to guests
- Assist bell staff including parking and retrieving vehicles, and helping with luggage
