Detailing Worker — Full-Time
Velocity Mobile Detailing is hiring a full-time detailing worker. We're a mobile operation servicing clients across the Durham Region, and we need another reliable hand on the crew.
The Work:
- Setting up at each location — water, power, supplies, work area
- Exterior washes using proper two-bucket technique — no swirl-marking the paint
- Wheels, tires, jambs, trim
- Vacuuming and thoroughly cleaning interiors — carpets, seats, dash, panels, glass
- Helping the lead techs with shampooing, extraction, paint decontamination, claying, and finishing
- Applying dressings and protectants cleanly — no sling, no residue, no mess
- Final walkthrough with the client before packing up
- Keeping the equipment and van organized throughout the day
- Light client interaction — you're on their property, you represent the brand
Who We're Looking For:
- You have real detailing experience — not your first time washing a car. You know proper wash technique, you can clean an interior thoroughly, and you can handle detailing tools and chemicals without damaging anything.
- You're available full-time — 5 days/week minimum (M–F), ideally 7
- You show up on time, every time
- You're comfortable working outdoors in various weather
- You're professional, presentable, and communicate well
- You're authorized to work in Canada
