Gauer and Saw Operator:
Our Woodbridge facility has an immediate opening for a Gauer & Saw Operator to operate a Flat Bar Edging assembly line and the metal saw.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm.
What will YOU be doing as a Gauer and Saw Operator?
● Set up and operate Gauer Flat Bar Edging equipment according to work orders, instruction guides, and customer specifications, feeding material by hand and inspecting for quality
● Set up and operate saw machine, adjusting stops and guides to achieve required cut lengths while monitoring for defects or issues
● Use precision measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality standards are consistently met
● Package, strap, and assist with transporting finished materials while maintaining accurate completion of required paperwork
● Perform routine machine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication, while keeping work areas clean and organized
● Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., crane and tow motor) and follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
What YOU bring to the table?
● Mechanical experience in assessing product quality, making dial adjustments, and operating a tow motor (overhead crane experience is a strong asset).
● Strong basic mathematical calculation skills and the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
● Physically fit and capable of handling a demanding role, including frequent bending, pushing, and lifting of 50+ pounds.
● A self-motivated, quick-learning team player with a "can-do" attitude
● A strong awareness of workplace safety and the flexibility to work overtime based on business demands.
Salary information: (Salary is dependent on experience)
Starting salary: $ 22 per hour
