Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from stress. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting overall health and well-being through therapeutic touch.
Duties
- Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage techniques.
- Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on medical history and personal preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress updates.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after their sessions.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices as needed.
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals.
- Must be a Registered Massage Therapist with one of the Massage Therapist Associations in Alberta
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
