Forklift Operator – Brantford, ON
Our client in Brantford is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cold Storage Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team. This role requires hands-on experience operating Crown Reach or Crown Dock Stocker forklifts in a fast-paced, cold storage environment.
Available Shifts:
All shifts available – flexibility is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks, move materials between storage areas, and ensure accurate organization of tire inventory.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including verification and documentation of incoming and outgoing products.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Support inventory control through accurate counting and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and customer service goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation standards.
- Perform additional general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid Crown Reach, Crown Dock Stocker, and Walkie licenses.
- Minimum 2+ years of forklift experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Proven ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in cold storage conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy and time management.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory.
Job Type: Full-time
