Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced fufillment and Shipping Specialist to oversee the efficient management of shipping and receiving operations within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse distribution skills, and experience operating forklifts and cranes. This role is vital in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, load and unload activities, and maintaining smooth warehouse workflows. The Shipping Coordinator will also be responsible for utilizing warehouse management systems to track shipments and inventory, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods
- Operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and moving products
- Manage order picking using various tools such as order pickers and ensure accuracy in order fulfillment
- Load and unload materials safely using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ensure proper storage of goods in the warehouse to optimize space utilization
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and improve overall efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and shipments
- Experience with order picking, load & unload procedures, and warehouse organization
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
