We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst to support the delivery of strategic initiatives and business solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, identify process improvements, and help drive projects from concept through implementation. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities
.Support production readiness planning and execution activities to ensure the successful implementation and operational transition of the financial system
.Collaborate with business and QA stakeholders to define and validate business scenarios, operational workflows, and testing outcomes
.Facilitate the identification, tracking, and resolution of defects, operational gaps, and process issues throughout the testing and deployment phases
.Develop, maintain, and govern operational documentation required to support production readiness and ongoing operations, including SOPs, runbooks, support procedures, process flows, and user guidance materials
.Ensure operational and support documentation remains accurate, current, and aligned with evolving solution changes throughout the delivery lifecycle
.Develop end-user training materials and support knowledge transfer activities for business and operational support teams
Facilitate operational readiness by ensuring support teams have a clear understanding of business processes, workflows, escalation procedures, and support expectations
.Ensure training, operational procedures, and support materials are fully aligned with the final production solution and operational model
.Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to support effective communication, operational readiness, issue resolution, and transition-to-support activities
.Identify and assess operational impacts, process gaps, dependencies, and readiness risks prior to production deployment, and support mitigation planning
.Coordinate readiness activities across business, operational, and project delivery stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution against implementation timelines
.Support go-live planning, deployment activities, and early-life operational stabilization efforts
.Support business validation activities across integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-to-end testing cycles to ensure the solution meets business and operational requirements
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
.University degree or college diploma in computer science or a related field
.Demonstrated experience as planner/leader who can do BA work, but also distribute the work to other BAs.
.A minimum of five (5) years of recent demonstrated experience supporting production readiness, go-live planning, and operational transition activities for technology solutions
.A minimum of three (3) years of recent demonstrated experience supporting testing cycles, including integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-to-end validation
.Demonstrated experience in developing user guides, process documentation and knowledge transfer materials
.Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to act as liaison between business and technical stakeholders
.Proven ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholder, including business, QA, technical teams, and operational support groups
Additional Qualifications
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification in Business Analysis (CCBA) or other relevant professional designations
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000–$140,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
