CABINET INSTALLER
Progressive Cabinets & Millwork, a member of the Cherubini Group of Companies, is looking for experienced Cabinet Installers to join our team in Dartmouth, NS!
As a part of the crew at Progressive, you'll be joining a team focused on safety, inclusivity, collaboration, and quality. As Atlantic Canada’s premiere cabinetry and millwork provider, you’ll be installing product in the region’s most impressive residential and multi-unit developments.
SUMMARY
The Installer will be responsible for customer care on the job site from start to finish. We are searching for a reliable and motivated individual that can preform a variety of cabinet installation duties.
It will be your responsibility to conduct site visits, confirm measurements, and assist in the delivery of product. From there, you will work to install cabinetry and required hardware, while communicating any needed changes to your supervisor and/or Project Manager. Upon completion of the install, it’s your duty to ensure the job site is left cleaner than when you began.
Preference will be given to applicants with a Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.
JOB DUTIES
· Provide documentation of site before and after installation (photos).
· Assist in the delivery of cabinetry and millwork.
· Set up of cutting station in a safe and acceptable location on the job site.
· Identify and communicate potential issues or problems in installation
· Install cabinets according to project specifications
· Communicate and complete any modifications by troubleshooting with designer, project manager, and site supervisor.
· Installation of prescribed light packages from third party providers.
· Provide exemplary customer care by ensuring fit and install all finish panels, countertops, and hardware. Adjust all drawers, doors, and accessories for proper fit and function. Complete touch ups, fill nail holes, and ensure cabinetry and countertops are clear of any sawdust and debris.
· Remove all debris and garbage from job site and ensure proper disposal as per company policy.
· Maintain responsibility for parts that could be left behind at a job site by ensuring they are stored in a secure and safe location.
· Preform preliminary and concluding walkthroughs, complete all necessary site check with client or contractor, and obtain final sign off.
· Complete detailed deficiency reports as required.
· Complete vehicle reports to enable the company to identify repair and maintenance needs, and act on issues in a timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS
· Valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean drivers abstract.
· Previous experience cabinetry installation experience.
· Strong desire to be an active participant in our safety culture.
