We are currently hiring a Carpenter to join our team and lead the hands-on execution of our residential renovation projects. Much of our work takes place inside occupied homes, so respect, organization, and professionalism are essential.
About the Role: As a Carpenter, you will take ownership of day-to-day carpentry scopes across our renovation projects, including framing, interior finishing, trim, and installation work. You will work alongside our project leads and trade partners and play a key role in upholding the quality and professionalism our clients expect.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, communicates well on the job, and is looking to grow with a company that values quality over volume.
What You'll Do:
- Perform framing, interior finishing, trim, door and window installation, cabinet installation
- Install surface protection and maintain clean, organized jobsites throughout the day
- Read and work from drawings, and project plans
- Work effectively in a team with other carpenters and labourers
- Coordinate with project leads and subcontractors on site
- Safely operate hand and power tools and maintain your equipment
- Manage materials on site — receiving, staging, and minimizing waste
- Uphold a professional, respectful presence inside clients' homes at all times
- Experience with drywall finishing is an asset
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Red Seal or equivalent carpentry experience preferred; journeyperson or strong apprentice considered
- Proficient with hand and power tools and standard carpentry equipment
- Ability to read drawings and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of finish quality
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Professional and respectful working inside occupied homes
