iH casadécor is a Mississauga-based wholesale importer of home décor, supplying retailers across Canada with a catalogue of 7,000+ products across 80+ categories. About the Role
As Order & Shipping Operations Coordinator, you'll manage the order-to-delivery process — from order entry and EDI management through warehouse coordination, shipping, and invoicing. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you'll be the link between our customers, warehouse teams, and courier partners, making sure every order ships accurately and on time. This is a full-time, in-office role at our Mississauga location, with occasional travel to support tradeshows. It's a hands-on position for someone who is highly organized, strong in Excel, and enjoys solving problems.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Order Management
- Process orders end-to-end: data entry, order quotes, status reports, billing, and invoicing
- Manage EDI orders and maintain accurate records, correspondence, and documentation in our ERP system
- Apply customer credits and process order adjustments as needed
Logistics & Shipping
- Coordinate inventory between warehouses, identifying stock transfers needed for order fulfillment and replenishment
- Create waybills with courier partners and monitor shipments through to successful delivery
- Resolve shipping issues including lost parcels, transit delays, damaged product, and mis-shipments
- Compare freight rates across carriers to optimize shipping costs
- Communicate with warehouse teams on inventory allocation and delivery deadlines
Customer Service
- Serve as a key contact for customer order inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Build strong customer relationships by accommodating preferences and maintaining a consistently high standard of communication
Team & Administrative
- Support tradeshow organization and assist the sales team on-site
- Participate in internal meetings to review strategy and improve workflow efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced Excel proficiency is required and used daily — VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, sorting/filtering large datasets, and data cleanup. Candidates will be asked to complete a short Excel assessment.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, order administration, or an operations/logistics role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word) and experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and relationship management skills
- Proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and take on new responsibilities
Nice to Have
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) or courier platforms
- Experience in wholesale, distribution, or e-commerce environments
- Data analysis and reporting skills
