Job Overview
We are looking for a 2nd-year and up motorcycle technician! At Calgary Cycle City, we do not limit the kind of bikes we work on, so you would be gaining a wide variety of experience in all types of bikes! We are looking for a passionate, eager-to-learn individual with experience in the motorcycle industry to join our team at Calgary Cycle City!
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, and brake inspections
- Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and equipment
- Repair or replace faulty parts
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure motorcycles meet industry standards
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs and adjustments
- Maintain detailed service records for each motorcycle serviced
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and maintenance recommendations
- Read service manuals and have a strong work ethic
Experience
- Prior experience working as a motorcycle or automotive technician is preferred but not required; this position is also open to 2nd-year apprentices and up
- Mechanical knowledge of motorcycle systems and components is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in vehicle repair is highly desirable
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
