The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.
This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 4th, 2026.
Tasks for this role include:
- Act as the main point of contact for Route Marshals and Spirit Squad volunteers
- Provide guidance and support to participants along the 1K and 5K routes
- Be the eyes and ears on the route—help event organizers by identifying any issues or needs
- Keep communication flowing and ensure volunteers are supported and in place
- This is an active role in which you will need to stand for long periods of time
