Responsibilities
- Fabricate cast partials using advanced casting techniques, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Utilize digital design tools to create precise models and patterns for dental restorations.
- Operate and troubleshoot casting equipment, maintaining proper workflow and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with dental technicians and dentists to interpret design specifications and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain detailed records of production processes, materials used, and quality control checks.
- Assist in the development of new techniques or improvements in casting procedures to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a jeweler, dental technician, or in a related craft involving casting or model making.
- Proficiency in digital design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Maya, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, visual arts painting, and 3D/2D animation is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD software, HTML/CSS for digital modeling is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work meticulously under deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
