If the sales accomplishment you are proudest of is the person or team you developed—not merely the deal you closed—this may be the opportunity for you.
A growing Canadian B2B service business is creating dedicated sales-leadership capacity for its next stage of growth. We need a leader who can learn a business quickly, coach from real calls, build a disciplined selling system, identify high-potential talent, and turn promising early-career hires into confident, capable closers.
This is a newly structured, existing vacancy. It is a true people-leadership role: your success will come primarily through the team's results rather than a personal book of business.
Why This Role Matters
The company has strong growth, useful CRM data, recorded calls, dashboards, existing scripts, and an energetic team. The opportunity is to turn those ingredients into a consistent sales-management system.
You will absorb what is already working before making major changes, but you will begin coaching immediately through thoughtful questions, curiosity, call review, and firsthand testing. Over time, you will evolve the team's approach toward a Sandler-aligned, consultative model that helps customers work through change and make confident decisions.
What You Will Own
- Lead, coach, and develop a growing B2B sales team, with clear standards and consistent follow-through.
- Establish a practical cadence of one-to-ones, call reviews, role plays, team coaching, and performance feedback.
- Build a repeatable hiring and ramp system that identifies sales aptitude and develops relatively inexperienced hires into productive closers.
- Improve scripts and discovery practices gradually, using evidence from calls, CRM data, customer conversations, and conversion results.
- Own team pipeline health, CRM discipline, forecasts, dashboards, and the operating rhythm behind ambitious revenue growth.
- Address performance problems directly, respectfully, and early; hold the line when expectations are tested.
- Partner closely with a strategic-sales leader on major opportunities and with customer support on clean handoffs and customer experience.
- Represent the business credibly with executives and at selected industry events.
What Makes You a Fit
- You can show repeated examples of hiring or inheriting relatively green salespeople, developing them through a defined system, and improving their measurable performance.
- You are trained in or strongly aligned with Sandler-style consultative selling and can coach discovery, questioning, change readiness, call execution, and limiting beliefs from real evidence.
- You learn technical B2B businesses quickly, use CRM and call data fluently, communicate credibly with executives, generate your own ideas, and combine supportive coaching with firm accountability.
Why Join
This opportunity combines startup-style pace with the stability and values of a long-established family-business group. You will work with an energetic team, have direct access to leadership, and gain room to make a visible mark rather than inherit layers of fixed corporate process.
The business is competing in a David-versus-Goliath market and believes deeply in what it offers. Success here can create broader growth opportunities across the group of companies for a leader who builds something durable.

- Full-time, permanent leadership role.
- Onsite Monday-Friday in Scarborough, Ontario.
