Senior Tester (Supply Chain/SAP)
Location : Downtown Toronto, Ontario (Onsite)
Duration : June 2026 - April 2027 (Potential Extension)
Pay Rate: $60-85/hr
About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading Canadian retail and supply chain organization, is undertaking a large-scale enterprise transformation initiative and is seeking experienced Senior Testers to support critical testing activities across multiple integrated retail platforms.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in retail systems testing, supply chain operations, warehouse management, POS environments, and enterprise application integrations. You will play a key role in validating complex business processes while collaborating with business, technology, and vendor teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution
* Develop and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
* Support Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E), Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
* Validate business processes across integrated retail applications and platforms.
* Participate in test readiness reviews and release validation activities.
* Coordinate testing activities across multiple systems and stakeholders.
Defect Management
* Log, track, prioritize, and retest defects using Jira or similar tools.
* Collaborate with developers, business analysts, vendors, and functional teams to resolve issues.
* Perform root cause analysis and support defect reporting.
* Ensure complete documentation of defects with clear reproduction steps and evidence.
Retail & Supply Chain Process Validation
Validate workflows across:
* Order Management
* Inventory Management
* Warehouse Operations
* Replenishment & Fulfillment
* Pricing & Promotions
* Product Management
* POS Transactions
Collaboration & Reporting
* Participate in daily testing meetings and status reporting.
* Support deployment validation and post-production verification.
* Assist with test metrics, reporting, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of software testing experience within enterprise environments.
* 3+ years of retail industry experience.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
* Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
* SAP
* Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM)
* Blue Yonder Product Suite
* GK POS
* Strong experience in:
* Test Execution
* Defect Management
* Jira
* Integration Testing
* End-to-End Testing
* UAT
* Regression Testing
* Experience supporting Supply Chain and Warehouse Management processes.
* Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, or related supply chain applications.
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience supporting large-scale retail transformation programs.
* Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, or SAP Transportation Management (TM).
* Experience with Agile, Hybrid Agile, or Waterfall delivery models.
* Familiarity with ServiceNow, release management, or test management tools.
* Understanding of merchandising, omnichannel retail, marketing, or supply chain operations.
