Job Overview
First Choice Motors is seeking an experienced Automotive Repair Technician to join our growing team.
We are a high-volume dealership and repair facility looking for a motivated individual with automotive repair experience who can perform repairs efficiently and produce quality work in a fast-paced environment.
The majority of the work consists of vehicle reconditioning, maintenance, brake repairs, suspension repairs, steering repairs, and general mechanical work. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable performing larger repairs when required, including engine, transmission, clutch, and timing component replacements.
Responsibilities:
- Brake repairs and replacements
- Suspension and steering repairs
- Exhaust system repairs and replacement
- Basic welding and fabrication work as required
- Vehicle reconditioning and repair work
- Oil changes and maintenance services
- Tire installation and related services
- Mechanical repairs and component replacements
- Assist with larger repairs when required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements:
- Previous automotive repair experience required
- Experience with brake, suspension, steering, and maintenance repairs
- Experience performing exhaust repairs and welding is considered a strong asset
- Ability to perform repairs independently
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with engine, transmission, clutch, and timing component replacement is considered an asset
- Valid Ontario Driver's License
- 310S License is considered an asset but is not required

Compensation:
Hourly wage is based on experience and qualifications.
In addition to hourly pay, technicians participate in our weekly net produced hours productivity bonus program, providing additional earning opportunities based on performance, efficiency, and productivity.
Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
