Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Heat Press Operator specializing in Direct to Film (DTF) printing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heat press equipment to produce high-quality printed designs on various substrates. This role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and a commitment to safety and efficiency within a fast-paced production environment. The Heat Press Operator will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate completion of custom printing orders while maintaining quality standards.
Duties
- Operate heat press machines to transfer designs onto garments or other materials using Direct to Film technology and standard vinyl.
- Set up and adjust equipment parameters to match specific job requirements, including temperature, pressure, and pressing time.
- Use different materials including DTF and vinyl.
- Ensure accurate placememnt and adhesion on all garments.
- Monitor machine operation throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal results.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to customer specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on heat press equipment, including cleaning and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with packaging finished products for shipment or storage.
- Experience
- Prior experience operating heat press machines or in a manufacturing environment is required (Minimum 1 year).
- Familiarity with Direct to Film printing processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of industrial equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions are essential for ensuring product quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
