Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for food excellence. This role involves overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food preparation and presentation. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary direction of our establishment while fostering a collaborative and innovative kitchen environment.
Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and food service personnel
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality standards are met
- Develop and update menus in collaboration with management, incorporating current culinary trends and customer preferences
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize efficiency
- Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
- Solid restaurant management experience with knowledge of kitchen workflows and operational procedures
- Deep understanding of food handling safety protocols and food industry standards
- Excellent leadership qualities combined with effective communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior restaurant experience is essential; hospitality background preferred
- Knowledge of current culinary trends and innovative menu development is a plus

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
