We are an e-commerce company specializing in personalized goods (personalized cutting boards, flasks, picture frames, chef knives) and light fixtures. Located in Saint-Laurent, we are looking for an employee to aid in the production and fulfillment of e-commerce orders. We are looking for a motivated, prompt, and hardworking individual to join our team.
This position has an hourly rate of $21 per hour. Shift timings are Monday–Friday, 9–5.
Responsibilities
- Run a laser engraver to fulfill customer orders.
- Sanding and wood treatment operations on cutting boards.
- Quality-check products after sanding and treatment.
- Pack orders in preparation for shipping.
- Use shipping software and e-commerce platforms such as Etsy, Amazon, and Shopify to fulfill orders.
- Handle online customer service — responding to customer messages, order inquiries, and personalization requests in a clear, professional, and timely manner.
- General cleaning of the workspace and shop.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to carry up to 30 lbs and complete material-handling tasks for long periods.
- Strong written communication skills for customer-facing messages.
- Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- High School Diploma.
- Experience with general computer programs and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Experience with laser engraving considered an asset.
- Vector graphic design software experience considered an asset.
- Having a vehicle to bring packages to nearby shippers considered an asset (kilometre reimbursement would be given in addition to regular pay).
