Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead sales teams, and ensure exceptional customer service. Duties
- Lead and supervise retail staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve sales goals.
- Manage daily store operations, including cash handling, POS transactions, inventory control, and merchandising.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
- Oversee pricing strategies, purchasing decisions, and product placement to optimize store performance.
- Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports on store performance; manage budgeting and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and customer service standards.
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a competent team.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives to promote store offerings and enhance brand visibility.
- Maintain effective communication with staff and upper management; foster a collaborative team environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure a high level of customer service.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong background in sales management, merchandising, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships and purchasing processes.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, team supervision, and performance evaluation.
- Skills in marketing strategies, pricing tactics, budgeting, and administrative tasks such as payroll processing.
- Exceptional communication skills with proficiency in phone etiquette and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
