Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile carpenter to join our construction and cribbing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various construction disciplines, including concrete forming and carpentry. This role involves working on high end homes and commercial projects. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality craftsmanship on time and within scope, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Duties
- Perform rebar installation, concrete forming including lay out and set up of foundations with precision and adherence to schematics and blueprints
- Operate power tools safely for various construction tasks
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Use hand tools effectively
- Lift heavy materials safely while maintaining proper ergonomics during all phases of work
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of concrete forming and carpentry, or related fields
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools proficiently
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for precise project execution
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on job sites
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction environments
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Willingness to learn new skills related to construction projects

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
