WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Lead and mentor a cross-functional development and business systems analyst team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Define and execute the technical roadmap for Archer Development, aligning initiatives with RBC's strategic objectives

Oversee solution design, development, and deployment of enterprise solutions using modern architecture and best practices

Drive stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

Champion agile methodologies and DevOps practices to accelerate time-to-market and operational excellence

Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring robust security, compliance, and data governance
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
-
5+ years of software development and architecture experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity

Proven track record managing large-scale enterprise technology initiatives in complex environments
-
Strong expertise in modern development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, microservices architecture)

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
Nice-to-have:

Experience in the financial services or banking industry

Certification in project management (PMP, SAFe) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Demonstrated expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, cloud-native architectures, blockchain)

Track record of successful digital transformation initiatives leading to measurable business impact
