Fluey Trading Inc. is looking for a reliable and hardworking 5 Ton Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food products safely and efficiently to customers throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 5-ton delivery truck for local deliveries within Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload products safely.
- Manually unload products at customer locations (hand bombing required).
- Ensure customers receive accurate orders in good condition.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and care of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of commercial delivery driving experience preferred.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
- No air brake endorsement required.
- Ability to lift 60+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable with frequent loading and unloading activities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service.
- Fluent English communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
