Alpine Ski Club is looking for an Operations / Snowmaking Technician to join our year-round Mountain Operations Team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, operating equipment, and being part of the team that keeps our club running.

What You'll Do
As an Operations / Snowmaking Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping Alpine operating safely and efficiently throughout the year.
Your work may include:
- Operating and monitoring snowmaking systems
- Supporting lift maintenance and inspections
- Maintaining mountain infrastructure and equipment
- Operating snowmaking pumps, compressors and related equipment
- Troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Assisting with trail and property maintenance
- Supporting capital improvement projects
- Working collaboratively with the Mountain Operations Team to prepare exceptional skiing conditions
What We're Looking For

You'll be successful if you:
- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy fixing things
- Are dependable and take pride in your work
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Can adapt to changing priorities
- Have a strong commitment to safety
- Hold a valid Ontario Driver's Licence
Experience operating equipment, working in construction, landscaping, heavy equipment, utilities, farming, forestry, industrial maintenance, or mechanical trades is considered an asset.

Schedule
This is a full-time, year-round position.
The role includes a combination of days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends and holidays, particularly during the winter operating season. Flexibility is essential as schedules are influenced by weather conditions and operational requirements.
