Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable PERSON to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, carpentry, and the operation of heavy equipment and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects that require precision, safety awareness, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and woodworking tasks. The PERSON will contribute to building and restoring structures with professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results across all assignments.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction projects accurately
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks with precision and efficiency
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to complete various construction activities
- Install siding, perform restoration work, and execute carpentry tasks including framing and woodwork
- Use hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
- Conduct welding operations as needed for structural integrity and repairs
- Manage heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in the installation of siding, drywall, or other exterior/interior finishes
- Follow project plans and specifications to meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all safety procedures are followed during daily operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with skills in blueprint reading, carpentry, concrete finishing, siding installation, welding, and restoration work
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong knowledge of schematics and technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Experience with woodworking techniques and the use of hand tools for detailed craftsmanship
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites to prevent accidents or injuries
- Prior experience working with concrete forming or finishing is highly desirable
- Construction experience involving siding installation or restoration projects is preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
