Title: Project Manager, Nursing Projects
Salary: $102,397 - $120,467 - $138,538 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Term – Full-time ending December 31, 2027
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (8am-4pm/8:30am-4:30pm/9am-5pm) core hours 9:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday
Location: Alberni (Metro Vancouver) located on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.
About the role
As a Project Manager Nursing Projects, you will primarily support two projects, The Healthcare Education Forum and the Clinical Policy Framework Redesign Project. Healthcare Education Forum is a three-day conference held biennial to bring together Allied Health, Nursing and Traditional Wellness care providers from across BC First Nations and the FNHA for the purposes of clinical education, networking, recognition, and wellness. The Clinical Policy Framework Redesign Project is a cross-organization initiative that standardizes and defines the processes for clinical policy document development across FNHA.
The Health Education Forum is a biennial conference that will occur next Nov 2027. Joining the team at the First Nations Health Authority will provide an opportunity to shape the conference, including being a key member of the governance and project team. The Clinical Policy Framework project is a key project supporting the development of clinical policies for the First Nations Health Authority – leaving a legacy on the landscape of First Nations specific health services across BC.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have experience working with First Nations in BC. Candidate will ideally have knowledge of health care education, either from their own experience as health care provider or from past role in project management.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Business/Health Informatics) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
8+ years of recent direct Project Management experience in managing healthcare service delivery projects.
Advanced experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) including Project and Visio.
Experience working with SharePoint and dashboard.
Occupational Certification
Certificate in Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) is required.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
