The Tennis Professional will report directly to the Head Tennis Professional and/or their designate. Responsibilities will include: Private/Semi-Private Lessons, Adult and Junior clinic sessions and periodic social night attendance. The role may include lessons during the evening and on weekends, the Tennis Professional will need to communicate with the Head Tennis Professional on availability.
Required Qualifications:
- TPA instructors’ level or equivalent tennis level
- Have or be prepared to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED qualifications
Essential Functions/Expectations:
- Tennis Professionals are expected to treat members and staff with high degree of professionalism throughout the facility.
- Be willing to communicate extensively with our passionate membership base
- Frequent communication with Head Tennis Professional and Front Desk Staff
- Meet invoicing deadlines provided by the Head Tennis Professional
On court:
- This individual should be outgoing, reliable, and knowledgeable in all aspects of our sport, and 100% committed to providing a fun and competitive playing environment for all our junior and adult player
- Design lessons/activities for the duration of the session that address the skill level of
- the member
- Must have the ability to be upbeat and energetic throughout each lesson.
- Adhere to all club/court rules and regulations. Be a good example.
- Collect, manage, and return all club equipment in good working condition.
- Practice professionalism by keeping a neat and tidy appearance.
