We are looking to hire a Part Time AZ Instructor for our Transport Driver Training Facility located in Kitchener, Ontario.
All candidates applying must have a valid class AZ license with a minimum of 10yrs verifiable over the road experience and no gaps in the last 5 years. A Clean CVOR & Driver's Abstract is required.
This position is perfect for a semi retired AZ Driver who would love to pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation of truckers. We are a school that is safety focused and passionate about training standards. Together we can help to put safe and responsible drivers on our roads.
Only candidates with extensive experience in Manual Transmission will be considered
Air Brake Endorsement (required). English Language (required).
Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
- In Yard Instruction - supervising and instructing students as per the provided curriculum, ensuring safe practices at all times
- In Truck Instruction -instructing the student driver ensuring safety of all road occupants at all times and in compliance with the OHTA
- Theory Instruction - leading a class of 8-15 students through the required course curriculum
License/Certification:
- Air Brake Endorsement (required)
- Class A License (required)
