Position Summary:
The Warehouse Inventory Associate (WIA) plays a key role in our warehouse operations by ensuring inventory integrity. In this hands-on role you will investigate discrepancies, process returns, support audits, and contribute to a safe, high-performing work environment.
This position will add value to Shandex by:
· Ensuring we maintain an acceptable inventory accuracy for shareholders, customers and financial institutions alike.
· Enhancing service quality to our clients by promptly and accurately actioning tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
· Perform daily cycle counting functions to achieve set count frequency requirements.
· Identify the root cause of the inventory discrepancies and work with proper employees and departments to solve and prevent future occurrences.
· Be an active participant in fiscal inventory counts.
· Investigate customer claims to determine if valid or invalid.
· Process warehouse returns by receiving in WMS, performing necessary rework, inspecting salvageability and completing receipt paperwork.
· Assessing product for damages and reworking pallets to salvage stock.
· Investigating lost product, including walking aisles to find misplaced stock.
· Action requests from the office and perform ad hoc assignments.
· Cross train between different warehouses and willing to travel between locations (within 3 KM radius).
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in all assigned areas.
· Follow and exemplify all company safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
· Other duties as required.
Requirements:
· Computer proficient.
· Fluent in English: reading, writing, and speaking.
· Ability to work independently and with team members.
· Willing to be scissor lift trained and operate at heights (30 ft).
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. Carrying boxes, standing, walking through warehouse.
· Car to travel between buildings.
Pay: $22.11 per hour
