The Job!
As a Payroll & Benefits Specialist, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Administering semi-monthly payroll for employees across multiple provinces using ADP Workforce Now and eTime, including employee data maintenance, payroll inputs, adjustments, and payroll review.
- Managing benefits, pension, RRSP, TFSA, enrollments, terminations, leaves, vendor coordination, and benefits reconciliations.
- Preparing payroll reports, reconciliations, intercompany allocations, year-end processing (T4s, T2200s), ROEs, audits, and regulatory filings.
- Serving as the primary contact for payroll and benefits inquiries while supporting process improvements, system enhancements, and documentation.
What you bring to the job
You come with strong knowledge of Canadian payroll compliance, year-end reporting, and benefits administration. You also come with:
- Advanced Excel skills with experience managing complex spreadsheets, reporting, reconciliations, and large datasets.
- 3+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience in a multi-provincial Canadian environment.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now required; eTime, HRIS, or SuccessFactors experience is an asset.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Post-secondary education in a related field; PCP designation is an asset but not required.

Expected Compensation: CAD $30-35 per hour. This may be adjusted based on experience.
