Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Asphalt Labourer to join our construction team. This role is essential in supporting paving and road construction projects, contributing to the creation and maintenance of durable infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites for paving projects
- Operate heavy equipment under supervision to aid in asphalt laying and related tasks
- Support the installation of asphalt surfaces, including spreading, leveling, and compaction
- Help with the transportation and placement of materials and tools around job sites
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all team members
- Perform general labor tasks as needed to support project timelines and quality standards
Requirements
- Prior experience with heavy equipment operation, paving, or construction is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new skills related to asphalt paving and construction processes
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment
Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
