## Overview
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations.
## Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor stock levels and communicate with the Head Chef to place orders
## Skills
- 3 years experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices (FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATE MANDATORY)
- Proficient in various cooking techniques
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with meal preparation and food handling
- Passion for the food industry
