Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant to join our Family dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Experience with dental software Cleardent as well as familiarity with orthodontics will be highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality dental services.
Hours:
Wednesdays 7:30-4:30
Thursdays 9-6
Fridays 7:30-4:30
Satudays (starting in September) 9-3
and additional days as agreed upon
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using Cleardent software
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and medical terminology in patient charts
Experience
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of dental assisting best practices
- Familiarity with general dentistry procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care is important
- Experience working with CAD technology for imaging or restorations is a plus
