About DSC
DSC is a fast-growing data and AI firm helping organizations modernize their data infrastructure, improve reporting, and unlock actionable insights. We work across industries to design, build, and optimize data platforms, analytics systems, and data-driven applications that support better decision-making and lay the groundwork for AI and machine learning. Our clients range from emerging businesses to established enterprises across North America.
We focus on boutique attention and enterprise-grade impact, ensuring our clients can trust their data to drive their decisions. We pride ourselves on transparent communication and building scalable platforms using modern data stacks and industry-leading solutions.
The Role
This is a permanent part-time role and the first time DSC is hiring for a dedicated content function. You will work directly with leadership, with full access to our thinking, our client work, and where we are headed. Your job is to translate that into content that reflects who we are, what we do, and why it matters to the clients and industries we serve.
Video Production: Own the full pipeline from scripting and filming to editing, captioning, and publishing. Short-form and long-form for LinkedIn and beyond.
LinkedIn Strategy: Posts, carousels, and video content that grow DSC’s audience and bring in qualified B2B leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage DSC’s LinkedIn presence end to end, from strategy and scheduling to performance reporting
- Produce 1 short-form video per week, independently handling scripting, filming, editing, and publishing
- Edit and publish webinars and team-produced video content for LinkedIn and other channels
- Build and maintain a content calendar aligned to business goals, campaigns, and industry moments
- Repurpose long-form videos into clips, carousels, and written posts to maximize every shoot
- Track reach, engagement, and lead attribution monthly and adjust based on what the data shows
Who This Role Is Designed For
This role is designed for a content creator who is equally comfortable behind the camera and in the edit suite, and who understands the nuance of building a brand on LinkedIn for a B2B audience. We are looking for someone who brings fresh ideas, takes ownership, and thrives in an environment where they have the space and trust to do their best work.
Experience
- 3 or more years of content creation experience with a portfolio that demonstrates real video production ability
- A proven track record managing a brand’s LinkedIn presence with measurable growth in audience or engagement
Core Capabilities
- Comfortable on camera yourself and skilled at drawing out the best in people who are not
- Proficient with editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar
- A strong writer who can simplify technical concepts without losing accuracy or credibility
- Background in B2B marketing with a solid understanding of how to create content that resonates with a business audience
- Experience with LinkedIn Ads or a working knowledge of how paid and organic content work together
- Genuinely curious about data, AI, and the business problems they solve
- Self-directed with strong time management
- Available for weekly check-ins and occasional in-person collaboration during business hours
Additional Strengths
- Experience with graphic design for social media and content posts
- Familiarity with SEO basics
What We Offer
- $35 to $40 CAD per hour depending on experience, approximately 10 to 12 hours per week to start
- A permanent part-time role with a clear path to grow as DSC’s content needs expand
- Full creative ownership and editorial freedom
- Flexible schedule with remote work
- Direct access to leadership and real business context from day one
