Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure a positive experience for every client.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before, during, and after sessions
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals if necessary
- Uphold professional standards of conduct and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and clinic productivity
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or relevant role in a wellness or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions and treatment plans is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen attentively and respond empathetically
- Certification or licensing as required by state regulations is essential
- Prior experience with various massage techniques and modalities is advantageous
