Overview
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for receiving, processing, organizing, and maintaining inventory to ensure products are readily available, properly stored, and meet our quality standards. The Warehouse Associate will also support the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day warehouse operations and inventory management.
The ideal candidate is punctual, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. They will play a key role in supporting daily operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper product rotation and storage, and keeping warehouse, cooler, and storage areas clean and organized. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to take initiative, and effective time management are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming products and supplies against purchase orders.
- Process, label, and store products promptly and accurately.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with inventory counts and audits.
- Inspect products for quality, freshness, and damage, reporting any discrepancies or concerns.
- Ensure proper product rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Organize and maintain coolers, storage areas, carts, and workspaces.
- Prioritize and process products special orders.
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient receiving, storage, and cooler areas.
- Communicate regularly with management regarding inventory issues, shortages, substitutions, and product availability.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and ever changing environment.
- Experience with inventory management, receiving, or warehouse operations is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move products safely.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in cooler environments and maintaining cleanliness standards.
Schedule
- Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Additional hours required around peak floral holidays: Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day and Thanksgiving.
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
