Fraser Valley Building Supplies (FVBS) is the largest RONA store operator in Western Canada, with 10 locations and counting. We've recently expanded through acquisition, and we're not slowing down. If you're a finance leader who's tired of just keeping the lights on and wants a seat at the table while a company scales, this is your role.
What you’ll be doing:

Owning month-end and year-end close, reporting, and tax filings, so the numbers are always right and always on time

Leading a team of five in AP/AR, and helping them grow their own careers

Getting hands-on with new store and acquisition integrations. When we bring on a new location, you're a key part of it

Bringing new ideas to the table on technology and automation. If you've got opinions on how finance teams should work better, we want to hear them

Partnering directly with the CFO on the stuff that shapes the business, not just reporting on it after the fact
What you bring:

Accounting Diploma, Degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

CPA designation

2+ years leading a finance team

Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment

Comfort with ERP systems and a genuine interest in Tech & AI that makes finance team work faster, smarter, and cleaner

Experience being part of a company acquisition or multi-location rollout before

Ability to work in-office full-time

You're organized, you communicate well, and you don't rattle easily when priorities shift
