Job description
We are seeking a Petroleum Service Technician (PM1, PM2, PM3 or apprentice) to join our team.
Responsibilities
Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner according to Company and customer requirements
Ensure that the company and customer Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed
Accountable for maintaining service parts inventories in assigned company vehicle
Repair/maintain/install and troubleshoot problems with customer mechanical and electronic equipment
Meet company, customer and Legislative safety standards (personal protective equipment, equipment /material handling)
Maintain professionalism, sensitivity and tact to always portray the Company in a positive manner
Education: Completion of High School. College/Vocational or Technical Training is an asset

Are willing to work and learn,
Have a strong aptitude for electronic, mechanical and computer apparatus or have electrical expertise,
Have good “People” skills,
Have hands on experience or are familiar with petroleum handling equipment,
Have excellent oral and written communication skills,
Are willing and able to work outdoors for extended periods sometimes in adverse weather conditions,
Have strong trouble shooting, problem solving skills and attention to detail,
Have a G drivers license, (graduated license not accepted) clean driver’s abstract and basic security clearance upon hire,
Are capable of driving in all seasons of the year,
Are willing to travel. Out of town trips are sometimes required; some trips requiring multiple days,
Have the ability to use proper lifting techniques to lift items in excess 50 lbs,
Are organized, timely and professional,
Willing and able to work overtime.

There is a lot of training required for a technician and when you gain experience and qualifications, your pay scale will adjusted accordingly.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
