Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscaping Laborer to join our team and contribute to maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, supporting various landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Prior experience with construction, mechanical tools, or irrigation systems is a plus. This role is essential in ensuring our clients' landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-maintained.
Duties
- Assist with landscape installation, maintenance, and repair tasks including planting, trimming, and fertilizing
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping activities
- Perform general gardening duties such as soil preparation, mulching, and weed control
- Conduct routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, and debris removal
- Support construction-related tasks such as setting up structures or pathways
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through basic mechanical knowledge and routine upkeep
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a secure work environment during all landscaping activities
Qualifications
- Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related construction fields preferred but not neccassary
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and gardening techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of power tools and machinery such as excavators
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair is desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Experience with excavation equipment or construction experience is a plus
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude
Pay: $17.60-$26.00 per hour
