Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Process Piping Designer with expertise in Revit to join our team team. This role focuses on the design and detailing of process mechanical and process piping systems for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities and other industrial projects.
Working alongside our project managers, superintendents, and field teams, you will develop coordinated 3D models and construction drawings that support successful project delivery from concept through construction.
Duties
- Develop detailed process pipe, and support fabrication drawings using Revit MEP
- Create accurate schematics, layouts, and 3D models for mechanical process piping systems.
- Design and model process piping systems, equipment layouts, supports, and associated mechanical systems.
- Coordinate designs with structural, architectural, civil, and electrical disciplines.
- Review engineering drawings and specifications and translate them into constructible shop and installation drawings.
- Assist with clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Update models and drawings throughout construction as design changes occur.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Revit MEP is Required
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Engineering Design, or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit preferred
- Experience producing MEP construction drawings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping layouts, and equipment coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
