Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments with precision and creativity
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products suited to clients’ needs and upselling where appropriate
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products to enhance service offerings
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a professional salon setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Skilled in various hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, blowouts, and special occasion styles
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures within a salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally during consultations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Prior experience managing front desk operations or retail sales is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for specific responsibilities
