Job Overview
G.K.J Services Truck & Trailer Repair is looking for an experienced and motivated 310T Licensed Truck & Trailer Technician to join our growing team. We service a wide range of commercial vehicles including heavy-duty trucks, trailers, cube vans, and fleet vehicles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial vehicles while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, steering, electrical, air, hydraulic, cooling, and drivetrain systems
- Perform preventative maintenance services
- Complete safety inspections and repair deficiencies
- Troubleshoot engine and aftertreatment systems (DPF, DEF, SCR, NOx sensors)
- Use diagnostic software and scan tools when required
- Maintain accurate repair records and work orders
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Respond to roadside service calls when required
Requirements
- Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician License
- Minimum 3 years experience working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Freightliner, Volvo, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, Hino, and trailers is an asset
- Valid G Driver's License (DZ/AZ is an asset)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own tools preferred
