Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in family medicine,This role involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services, utilizing advanced electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Cerner. The Physician Assistant will play a vital role in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management, ensuring optimal health outcomes for diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking and physical examinations using medical terminology and clinical judgment.
- Assist in diagnosing acute and chronic conditions across specialties such as pediatrics, pain management, and general medicine.
- Administer medications, perform phlebotomy, and manage medication reconciliation in accordance with established protocols.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records systems like Epic and Cerner.
- Support research initiatives by collecting data, analyzing clinical information, and contributing to quality improvement projects.
- Provide patient education on health management, medication use, and preventive care strategies.
- Assist with procedures related to home care services and outpatient clinics.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans that meet patients’ needs.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Valid Physician Assistant certification/license with current registration.
- Proven experience in hospital settings or outpatient clinics preferred; experience in acute care, pediatrics, or pain management is a plus.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records platforms such as Epic and Cerner.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures.
- Experience with research data collection and analysis is desirable.
- Skills in phlebotomy, home care coordination, and working with diverse patient populations are advantageous.

Pay: $45.87-$61.43 per hour
