Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Japanese Head Spa Technician to join our spa team. Hidden Gem Day Spa is located in Downtown Trenton and is tucked inside Vivacious Clothing. We have been serving the community for 10 years. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional head and scalp treatments inspired by traditional Japanese techniques, enhancing clients' relaxation and overall wellness. This role requires a passion for skincare, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a calming, welcoming environment for guests. The Japanese Head Spa Technician will also promote additional services and retail products to elevate the guest experience.
Duties
- Perform specialized Japanese head spa treatments, including scalp massage and cleansing. The treatment also includes neck, shoulder massage and facial.
- Assist guests with product demos and recommend suitable retail products to enhance their wellness routines.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards throughout all treatments and work areas.
- Engage with guests at the front desk to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Upsell spa packages and additional services to maximize guest benefits.
- Ensure a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Offer exceptional guest services by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing individual client needs.
Requirements
- Diploma in Esthetics or Hair Styling preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards in a spa setting.
- Ability to perform retail sales and upselling techniques confidently.
- Experience working at the front desk or in hospitality environments is a plus.
- Professional appearance with a friendly demeanor that aligns with our luxury brand standards.
