Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in the restaurant industry. The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring efficient operations.
- Train, mentor, and support team members in food preparation, customer service, and cash handling procedures.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed to support the kitchen team.
- Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and that any issues are resolved promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
- Proficiency in cash handling and experience with POS systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the dining experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
