The purpose of the Inventory & Material Coordinator role is to ensure efficient and accurate inventory and material management within the production plant to support continuous manufacturing operations. The role is key in maintaining optimal stock levels, supporting audits, coordinating raw material replenishment, and managing logistics and internal transactions. The position also provides backup support to purchasing and storeroom functions, contributing to the overall productivity and success of the supply chain process.
Key Activities:

Perform monthly inventory counts and associated reconciliation in the production and storeroom area(s) to support operational requirements

Provide monthly support for audits and internal processes
-
Plan, order, and replenish raw materials to maintain supply targets and support production area inventory requirements

Use in house ERP System
-
Responsible for performing regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and support inventory control efforts

Process and receive transactions related to the receipt of materials

Perform back up responsibilities to purchasing and storeroom functions

Perform other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications

Post Secondary education in business, warehouse, or inventory management with 3 years relevant work experience

Excellent communication skills

Strong sense of urgency and is a self starter and self directed with responsibilities

Strong analytical skills to maintain inventory, and perform transactions with high degree of accuracy

Strong mechanical skills.

Proficient with computers and Microsoft office programs (ie: Word. Excel).

Ability to operate a forklift considered an asset.
