SDR provides a complete range of Electrical, Plumbing, and Heating contracting services for new constructions, renovations, tenant improvements and much more throughout Leeds & Grenville, Lanark &. Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Counties. SDR takes pride in giving our customers a positive experience at a competitive price. We are currently hiring a Licensed Plumber.
Responsibilities:
- Represent company in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner on each and every call.
- Install, maintain, and repair all types of piping systems, fixtures and other equipment used to distribute, supply, or dispose of water or wastewater, including fixtures systems and appliances in residential buildings.
- On-site problem diagnosis, accurately estimate repair costs, fixed right the first time and continual value-added communication with the homeowner.
- Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, and soldering.
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines.
- Perform diagnostics, repair, maintain, service and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
- Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate.
- Ability to use modern technology.
- Must be able to work the occasional evening and weekend.
Qualifications:
- Certified 306A Plumber.
- Four years of experience in plumbing.
- Class G Driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
