We are currently hiring for an experienced Fixture Assembler for our client in Mississauga for the afternoon shift. Responsible for the assembly of elevator fixtures including fixture components by referencing to related CAD schematics.
Hours: Monday- Thursday 4pm to 1am , Friday 3pm to 12:00am
Pay: $22.00/per hour
Responsibilities:
- Correctly identify buttons and components and accurately interpret assembly drawings
- Assemble products within specified period of time
- Utilize manual hand and power tools efficiently
- Effectively inspect assemblies visually and with designated measuring devices.
- Production rework assembly.
- Identify non-conformances.
- Complete shop records accurately.
- Communicates well with colleagues and team leader.
- Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Able to lift up to 15lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area
- Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 1 – 2 years of experience in light assembly work
- At least 1 year of Manufacturing experience (custom production)
- Demonstrated dexterity and ability to perform simple to complex assemblies in a fast paced environment
- Medium to highly detail-oriented
- Experience with electrical fixtures component manufacturing preferred
