We are seeking a French-speaking Montessori Assistant Teacher who brings warmth, professionalism, and a genuine love for working with young children. Our Casa classrooms serve children ages 2.5–6 years in a calm, beautiful, and carefully prepared environment where independence, concentration, and meaningful work flourish. The Role
The Montessori Assistant supports the Lead Guide in maintaining the prepared environment and nurturing each child’s development within the Casa classroom.
You will:
- Support daily classroom flow in a Montessori Casa environment
- Communicate comfortably with children in French
- Assist with presentations, classroom preparation, and material care
- Observe children and support independence and concentration
- Foster a calm, respectful, and joyful classroom culture
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Guide and teaching team
- Support transitions, outdoor time, snack preparation, and care routines
Qualifications
Required
- Fluent French speaker
- Experience working with preschool-aged children (2.5–6 years)
- Genuine interest in Montessori education
- Warm, patient, and professional presence
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred
- RECE or ECE background
- Experience in a Montessori classroom environment
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
