The Game Presentation position is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of all FireWolves game-day entertainment and production elements. This role works closely with marketing, video production, social media, corporate partnerships, ticketing, and game-day staff to create an engaging, fan-first experience from the beginning of the event through the end of the game.
The position oversees the game-day script, production flow, fan engagement initiatives, in-arena entertainment, staff management, partner asset execution, media-day production, and post-game evaluation. The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a live-event production booth and a strong understanding of game presentation operations, production timing, technical communication, and in-game execution.
This is an in-office position based in Oshawa, Ontario, and requires regular attendance at the FireWolves office, all home games, media days, rehearsals, and other team events as required.
Game Operations

Hire and manage all game day staff: DJ, public address announcer, stage manager, sound operator, Vmix operator, motion graphics operator, camera operators, dance team, mascot, and interns.

Create energetic fan engagement during each of the FireWolves home games that aligns with the theme night.

Establish the league leading game day activation including, goal song/chant, fan chants, skits and light show with fans first mentality.
Creative Integration

Work as part of the marketing team to bring to creativity to life within the game elements.

Develop meaningful fan chants to engage the fans from the start of the game till the end. Work with video production, social media to develop ways to continue to teach the fans what the FireWolves want them to do.

Work to develop fan first entertainment to allow the fans to be integrated into the game day elements.
Game Day & Event Activation

Oversee the game day script to execute the overall game day presentation.

Coordinate meetings with key constituents on a game-by-game basis to make sure execution of all assets both external and internal partners are meet.

Develop clear process to have successful outcomes at games with relationship to Sponsorship, ticket sales, merchandise and game entertainment.

Manage the game day staff from hiring, training, provide expectations and act on staff employment if needed.

Marketing

Develop strategy to help develop marketing efforts during the pre-season to utilize players for both in game and the general marketing efforts

Establish clear parameters within the setup of media day to utilize all key constituents (players, mascot, coaches and others) to drive clear fan engagement and fun

Lead the media day (internal) for flow, set up and elements to showcase the professionalism of the FireWolves – Third party vendors for video, still photography, timing, scripting, etc.
Reporting & Proper Evaluation

Develop fan surveys post games to understand the outcomes of each element of the game day activation.

Evaluate, analyze, and measure the success and accuracy of the organizations game presentation and develop key markers to show the success or areas of improvement and make those on the fly.

Create a quarterly report for management that shows the key areas of success and opportunities thru true metrics.
